The Senior Curator leads a small and productive team toward the realization of exhibitions that embody fresh, original, and provocative viewpoints on emerging, established, and well-known artists, their practice, and their work. As a critical member of MCA Denver’s senior team, a successful candidate provides leadership and direction for intellectual and interpretive exhibition strategies that both challenge and inspire, is a persuasive communicator – both verbally and in writing – is an outstanding researcher and a compelling ambassador of the museum.
The Event and Facility Rental Coordinator will be directly responsible for all aspects of private rental events at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver), hosted in our beautifully designed rooftop café and other public spaces. This position will grow the facility rental program to meet established revenue goals by promoting the venue for private, corporate, and community-based functions. This position is responsible for identifying and cultivating new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and overseeing the day-to-day management of the museum rental program. On-site evening and weekend hours are required, so a flexible schedule is necessary.
MCA Denver’s curatorial fellowship is for creative, hardworking, and reliable undergraduate students interested in a museum career. The fellowship seeks to engage students from cultural backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in the arts.
