HOW ARE EXHIBITIONS CHOSEN AT MCA DENVER?
MCA Denver is a non-collecting institution. Exhibitions rotate three to four times yearly and are typically on-view for two to four months. Our curatorial team is committed to presenting compelling work by leading local, national and international artists. Exhibitions are organized two to three years in advance.

DO YOU ACCEPT ARTIST SUBMISSIONS?
MCA Denver does not select exhibitions based on unsolicited submissions. We regret we do not have a formal artist submission process to review these materials. Submitted exhibition proposals will not be returned.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
The museum does not operate its own parking lot. There is a public garage parking directly across 15th Street. Rates vary based on the time of day. For short stays, there are parking meters along Delgany Street.
DO YOU HAVE GROUP ADMISSION RATES?
Yes. Our group rates are $8 for 10+. To arrange your visit, please email email@example.com
CAN YOU APPRAISE WORKS OF ART?
No. You can find a certified appraiser at www.appraisers.org
DO YOU ALLOW DOGS IN THE MUSEUM?
Service animals are always welcome in the museum. We ask that other dogs remain at home.
I CANNOT FIND YOUR FRONT DOOR. HELP ME.
Our front door, located at the top of our entrance ramp, is a large sliding black slab activated by a motion sensor. It is frequently confused for a wall. After hours, or when the door is inoperable, you can access the museum from the service entrance located in the fire lane.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES IN THE MUSEUM?
You are welcome to take photographs in the museum for your personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise posted in a specific gallery. Flash photography and tripods are not permitted.
All commercial or portrait shoots must be scheduled in advance outside of regular museum hours. Rental and staffing fees may apply. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
All photo requests, including requests for images of objects or the building for publication, can be directed to email@example.com.
WHERE CAN I STORE MY BACKPACK/COAT/LOAF OF BREAD?
Lockers are available on the first floor. Keys can be requested from the Visitor Services Desk. We ask that all oversized items be stored in a locker – including backpacks, purses, coats and shopping bags.
DO YOU HAVE SEATING IN THE GALLERIES?
Benches designed by architect David Adjaye are available on every floor. Folding chairs are also available and any staff person and volunteer can help with chair requests.
IS THE MUSEUM WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. MCA Denver’s galleries, offices, restrooms and public spaces are all wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for our guests. Please contact the museum to reserve one for your visit or for any additional arrangements.
LOOKING AT ART MAKES ME THIRSTY
While, we do not allow outside food and beverages in the museum, MCA Café & Bar is open every Tuesday–Sunday offering coffee, tea, soda juice and a full bar. We ask that you enjoy your refreshments outside of the galleries, including on our rooftop deck.
