HOW ARE EXHIBITIONS CHOSEN AT MCA DENVER?
MCA Denver is a non-collecting institution. Exhibitions rotate three to four times yearly and are typically on-view for two to four months. Our curatorial team is committed to presenting compelling work by leading local, national, and international artists. Exhibitions are organized two to three years in advance.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU ROTATE YOUR EXHIBITIONS?

DO YOU ACCEPT ARTIST SUBMISSIONS?
MCA Denver does not select exhibitions based on unsolicited submissions. We regret we do not have a formal artist submission process to review these materials. Submitted exhibition proposals will not be returned.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
The museum does not operate its own parking lot. Public parking is available in the parking garage at 1900 16th St. We offer validated parking for up to 2 hours, before 4pm, Tuesday-Friday. All other times are flat rate & no validation is required.
Before 4pm $6 (with validation) / After 4pm $5 / Weekends $7
Limited meter parking is available on Delgany St.
DO YOU HAVE GROUP ADMISSION RATES?
Yes. Our group rates are $8 for 10+. To arrange your visit, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
CAN YOU APPRAISE WORKS OF ART?
No. You can find a certified appraiser at www.appraisers.org
DO YOU ALLOW DOGS IN THE MUSEUM?
Service animals are always welcome in the museum. We ask that other dogs remain at home.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES IN THE MUSEUM?
You are welcome to take photographs in the museum for your personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise posted in a specific gallery. Flash photography and tripods are not permitted.
All commercial or portrait shoots must be scheduled in advance outside of regular museum hours. Rental and staffing fees may apply. Email email@example.com to learn more.
All photo requests, including requests for images of objects or the building for publication, can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHERE CAN I STORE MY BACKPACK/COAT/LOAF OF BREAD?
Lockers are available on the first floor. Keys can be requested from the Visitor Services Desk. We ask that all oversized items be stored in a locker – including backpacks, purses, coats, and shopping bags.
DO YOU HAVE SEATING IN THE GALLERIES?
Benches designed by architect David Adjaye are available on every floor. Folding chairs are also available and any staff person and volunteer can help with chair requests.
IS THE MUSEUM WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. MCA Denver’s galleries, offices, restrooms and public spaces are all wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for our guests. Please contact the museum to reserve one for your visit or for any additional arrangements.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS ON ADMISSION?
Yes, we proudly offer Denver-area SNAP recipients free admission every day. You can learn more about our participation with Museums for All.

DOES THE MUSEUM HAVE ANY ACCOMMODATIONS FOR COLOR BLIND VISITORS?
MCA Denver is proud to offer color blind visitors four pairs of EnChroma glasses, specifically for red-green color blindness. Our glasses are hybrid versions of the EnChroma glasses and are made to work for most people regardless of what type of color blindness they have. About 85% of color blind people notice a change in what they see. These glasses can be checked out free of charge at the front desk with an ID. Read more here.
LOOKING AT ART MAKES ME THIRSTY
While we do not allow outside food and beverages in the museum, MCA Café & Bar is open every Tuesday–Sunday offering coffee, tea, soda, juice, a full bar, and small bites. We ask that you enjoy your refreshments outside of the galleries, including on our rooftop deck.
