Offhand

What is Offhand?

Offhand is a program for alumni interns from MCA Denver’s Teen Leadership Programs. Participants plan events and special projects, and occasionally partner with other organizations to paint murals, plan concerts, host film festivals, and much more!

Offhand meets both in person and virtually. Ideation and planning for events happens online. As this group of alum interns is ever-changing, each group organizes a time that is convenient for all members. Participation with Offhand is offered to past program participants from Failure Lab and/or MoxieMag.

The Anti-Hero Film Festival

An annual short film festival that seeks to share and celebrate perspectives, narratives, and experiences that have been left out of history by highlighting the voices of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Films are selected by our curatorial committee, composed of Offhand Teens, MCA Denver staff, and community arts members.
