MCA Denver's COVID guidelines/requirements
We recommend that visitors wear a mask during their visit to the museum (unless while eating or drinking in the rooftop cafe) to help us keep our staff and other visitors safe.
Are you requiring mask wearing or proof of vaccination to visit the museum or attend an event?
At this time we are strongly recommending that masks are worn at all times, unless while eating or drinking. We are no longer requiring proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test for programs and events.
Why are you recommending that masks be worn by museum visitors?
MCA Denver is deeply committed to the health and safety of our visitors and staff. Face coverings are one way to protect everyone from transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
I plan to host a rental event at the museum. Are there any requirements?
We will work with the hosts of any private event to ensure the safety standards implemented meet the requirements of the host.
Can I wear a face shield instead of a mask?
You are welcome to wear a face shield but it must be worn in addition to a mask that covers your nose and mouth.
MCA Denver has taken enhanced health and safety measures for you and our staff members. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and visitors with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place.
Therefore, you must follow all current rules and regulations while on MCA Denver premises and at MCA Denver events. By visiting any of the MCA Denver facilities or attending MCA Denver events, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
By purchasing and reserving your MCA Denver event ticket, you acknowledge that you will comply with this policy while attending this program.
