In Greek mythology the Sirens were birds with the heads of women whose songs were so astonishing none could resist. In a contemporary context, a siren is a sound meant to imply urgency. This show is meant to imply urgency. This immersive, multi-sensory event includes acoustic performances by five talented women; including host Dominique Christina. This event is rooted in spirit and centered on women who sing like they know that songs are prayers.
Free parking is available at North High School.

Iyanla Ayite is a Denver-based creative who organically fuses the textures of poetry, neo-soul, and jazz to create a classic, yet contemporary sound. Iyanla approaches her work as an offering of medicine, liberatory reflection, and reciprocal connection, whereby people are not so simply segregated into spectators and performers, but are welcomed into the warm and necessary collectivity music invites us into. She has performed in venues throughout Denver including Dazzle and Urban Sanctuary, and is currently completing an undergrad in Music and Africana studies at Colorado College. As a student, writer, dancer, instructor, and energy worker, people and their futures are at the center of her creative inspiration.
Halle Tomlinson is a multi-talented musician and vocalist based out of Denver, Colorado. She first gained national recognition as a contestant on the hit TV show "The Voice," where her beautiful voice and soulful sound captivated audiences across the country. Halle has been wowing audiences at venues and festivals throughout Colorado, and is excited to start her solo journey. Drawing inspiration from her R&B and soul roots, Halle's music is a unique blend of classic and contemporary styles, infused with her own personal flair. As a multi-instrumentalist, Halle brings a level of artistry and creativity to her music that is truly unmatched.
Jade Oracle is a bewitching potion of neo-soul, jazz, and siren songs to appease the Void. Led for this event in a more intimate capacity by the creative nexus of high priestess Coy Lim (Vox and Keys), synth sage Jake Alvarez (Guitar, Synths), their music has enthralled audiences across the US. Otherworldly grooves, ethereal eastern-inspired melodies, and silken sonic soundscapes define Jade Oracle; and beguile the listener to transcend this mortal plane to explore the realms of spirit and shadow.
Leilani Jayde Alarcon will be the dancer for the event.
