Koo Qua (6-6:45PM)
Koo Qua: Koo Qua is one of Denver’s finest and most respected MC’s. Her microphone presence is dynamic and her style exudes charisma. The winner of 2016’s South West Indy Artist Award for “Best Hip-hop Song” (“Caught Up”), Koo Qua has created a lane totally unique to her movement and message. Through hard work and dedication to the rhymes and culture of hip-hip, this MC has opened for Do or Die at Marquis Theatre in Denver, Chris Webby and more, creating a banner year out of 2016.
Pries: Upcoming rapper and occasional singer, Pries comes from Denver, Colorado and has related to many with his tales of college life and partying, often with soaring production. He has released five tapes to a steadily growing audience. Although he is an upcoming rapper, he has achieved some significant buzz, with his releases being monitored nationwide. He is noted for his story-oriented, often intelligent lyricism and production. We expect to hear much more from him in the time to come. (Bio taken from hotnewhiphop.com)
YaSi: Being vulnerable is the greatest experience you can give yourself as a human,” which is the central emotion you can feel in YaSi’s music. Starting her performing career in 2013, YaSi had been performing in Denver with hip-hop band H*Wood and eventually started her own solo career in 2016. YaSi's genre bending sound is the music to cope with, it's therapy.
