Teen Summer Curating Digital Animation Workshop Series Now Accepting Applications

Apply now for a new summer workshop series for teens, Curating Digital Animation. This FREE four-part workshop, led by Ivar Zeile of Denver Digerati, will introduce participants to curatorial theory and practices used in the selection of work for the Supernova Digital Animation Festival, a dynamic outdoor animation festival occurring annually each September in downtown Denver. During this workshop, you will gain perspective into digital animation as a contemporary practice, and experience the juried selection process by reviewing work submitted. Connect with peers, and contribute to a culminating event in September as part of Supernova.

Please note this workshop series is limited to high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in the fall of 2018. Deadline for application is Friday, June 1st. Selections will be made, and applicants will be notified by Friday, June 8th. Contact Alex Jimenez (alexj@mcadenver.org) with any questions about the application or program.

  • June 19, 2–4PM
  • June 26, 2–4PM
