MCA Denver’s POV is program is a gateway introduction to all things teen at MCA Denver. It is a semester-long, paid internship for high school students in the Denver area. Ambassadors are a diverse group of teens representing a multitude of experiences.
Want your digital art to be featured in the MCA Denver teen space (aka the third floor of the museum)? We’re assuming you answered that question with a resounding HECK TO THE YES! MCA Denver is accepting digital art submissions by teens to be showcased on the new television screens in the teen space. We want your work front and center, displayed for MCA Denver visitors to see.
MCA Denver’s newest teen program are six-week, intensive workshops centered around a creative practice. Rather than learning a specific art making skill, like beginner ceramics or oil painting 101, teens will dive into broader creative practices and subject matters.
Failure Lab is a museum-led leadership program for twelve Denver-area high school students. Rather than focusing on achievement, Failure Lab is dedicated to developing creativity, becoming a place where the risk of failure is always a possibility.
MCA Denver is awarding over $20,000 in college scholarships to the next generation of creative, innovative, and fearless graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a willingness to risk failure in the pursuit of something new.
This is a digital squad–so while there are no official meetings, your tasks will be to come to the museum on your own time (bring friends!) and do fun things around what's happening at MCA Denver. Interested?
