Suki Seokyeong Kang’s (b. 1977) practice traverses painting, sculpture, installation, video and performance to explore the interplay between the individual and the collective. This volume of her most recent work reads her practice through a range of varying discourses, including the status of traditional Korean painting in contemporary art and the narratives of the Western avant-garde.
