FAQs

How much are tickets and what do I get with my ticket?

Base tickets for the event are $6 for members, $8 for non-members, and $2 for 18 & under. The base ticket gets you admission to the museum, access to the Femme Bazaar, photo booth, music from DJs, the drop-in Meep workshop, and live music from local artists.

All other workshops are $5 for adults, free for 18 & under. Jacq the Stripper's evening performance is $10 for everyone. Tarot readings and chair massages are $15 for a 15 minute session for everyone. Henna is free.

How do I purchase tickets for the workshops?

Adult workshop tickets and tarot readings can be found as "Additional Items" under payment information at checkout after you select your base ticket. Base tickets are required for attending the workshops. Chair massages can be purchased day-of at the museum.

People 18 & under don't need to purchase workshop tickets; they can just walk up with their wristbands.

For more detailed instructions on purchasing workshop tickets, check out our website.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Street parking is limited. The garage directly across 15th Street is $7 on weekends. The museum is walking distance from Union Station and the 16th Street Free Mall Ride. Please don't drive if you plan on drinking.

Don't want to drive? Get 20% off a Lyft ride to or from the event by using code FEMFEST19.

Can I check out the galleries and cafe during the event?

Totally! Your ticket gets you access to the entire museum, so do it up right. Please note that Andrew Jensdotter: FLAK will be closed all day.

Will there be food available for purchase?

Yes! There will be food trucks outside the museum from 11AM-2PM and 3-7PM, and our cafe and bar on the third floor will be open all day.

Can I bring a backpack?

You're welcome to bring a backpack and walk through the events outside the museum, but you'll need to check it into a locker if you'd like to walk around the museum.

What happens if it rains?

Fem Fest will still happen, rain or shine! In the case of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside.

Do I have to be a woman to attend?

Definitely not! Fem Fest is open to people of all genders.

Is this event all ages?

Absolutely! Events throughout the day are all ages: however, please note that Jacq the Stripper's comedy performance contains mature content and may not be suitable for all ages.

Where can I find more information?

Check out our website for more information on Fem Fest, workshops, workshop leaders, and more.
