If you've never started a sentence, "So, I'm listening to this podcast ..." then your life is about to change. And if you have, then get excited to Shut Up & Listen! This new Spring Event Series will celebrate the art of live storytelling, add in some comedy, and combine it with a live podcast taping in our very own cafe. And while learning stuff is great and everything, laughing your ass off is important too, which is why we're bringing in local comedians to do their thing. You'll walk out of the event feeling smarter yet can still use LMAO in your status updates.

Join us, April 6, for the live taping of Denver's local podcast, Denver OrbitDenver Orbit is a podcast featuring voices, stories and music from Colorado's creative community.

After the taping, comedians Gabby Gutierrez-Reed and AJ Finney will take the stage and do their thing.

Denver comedian, Gabby Gutierrez-Reed has been a standup comedian and improvisor for 2 years. She intertwines her experiences to create a wide range  ofhigh-energy jokes and characters. She has performed at the 8th Annual New York Musical Improv Festival in 2016 and at Comedy Works Downtown Denver in the 2017 and 2018 Funny Final Four Competition. She received her BS in Culinary Nutrition and has yet to use it to this day in any way. It is unknown whether her parents are proud of her or not.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Street parking is limited. The garage directly across 15th street is $5 after 4pm. Please don't drive if you plan on drinking.

What if I'm really really thirsty before the event?

Good news for you because happy hour starts at 5PM (and goes until 7PM)  and since the event takes place in the cafe, you can chug responsibility throughout the show.

Can I check out the galleries and cafe before or after the event?

Totally. Your ticket gets you access to the entire museum, so do it up right.
