RESERVATIONS

Schools and other large groups are invited to book guided and self-guided tours anytime between 11AM-3PM, Tuesday–Friday. To ensure against overcrowding, we require reservations for all group tours–both guided and self-guided. Additionally, we require at least two weeks advance notice for all tour requests.

GUIDED TOUR HOURS

Tuesday–Friday 11AM-3PM. Guided tours last between 1-2 hours depending on current exhibitions. For reservations outside of our regularly scheduled tour hours please note your needs in the tour request form. Contact Alex Jimenez, at 720-236-1820 with additional questions.

GROUP SIZE

Tours are available for a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 30 per tour. Please provide one adult chaperone for every 10 students. We ask that chaperones remain with students at all times while in the museum and assist staff with students.

COST

Education group admission is based on a sliding scale starting at $5 for guided college tours and $3 for K-12 groups. Educators and adult chaperones are FREE. Scholarships and discounts are available for qualifying groups. Please note in your tour request if you would like to be considered for these rates.

Standard admission rates apply for non-school groups of 10 or more.

CANCELLATION

Tour cancellation must be made 24 hours in advance of scheduled visits by calling Alex Jimenez, at 720-236-1820. Groups arriving more than 20 minutes late to their scheduled tours are subject to cancellation.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Tours are adaptable to meet a range of group needs. Please note any special accommodations in your tour request.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

MCA Denver does not have a facility to accommodate K–12 school lunches. In good weather, school groups can picnic outside in nearby parks. Educators, please note that some of MCA Denver’s exhibitions may contain adult themes, including nudity and may not be suitable for all students. If you are not sure if an exhibition is appropriate for your students, please schedule a free educators preview and/or obtain parental permission prior to your visit. MCA Denver is wheelchair accessible.
