mixed taste: Tag team lectures on unrelated topics
Mixed Taste: Tag Team Lectures on Unrelated Topics brings together two speakers: the first speaks on the first topic for twenty minutes, then the second speaker speaks on the second topic for twenty minutes and then there is question and answer on both topics together at the same time.
Like a game show, Mixed Taste has rules. During the first part of the program no connections are allowed between the topics. During the Q&A anything can happen.
Mixed Taste began in 2004 at The Laboratory of Art and Ideas at Belmar. In 2009 ,when MCA Denver merged with The Lab, Mixed Taste moved to Downtown Denver. The series continues every summer from June through August.
