The Colorado Cocktail Project was a two-day event exploring the artistry of mixology and the craft of distilling. Bartenders from throughout Colorado were asked to submit their idea for a Colorado Cocktail, one that contained Colorado products and could be made at any bar.
On Sunday, June 26, 2011 the Colorado Cocktail Project filled the Museum
of Contemporary Art Denver with a day of lectures on cocktails and their
culture (accompanied by lots of food and lots and lots of drink). On Monday, June 27, the ten finalists in the Colorado Cocktail Contest will put
their drinks to the ultimate test.
