In 2004, architectural photographer Ron Pollard believed he had discovered a trove of Russian avant-garde masterpieces. He began purchasing these works from a man in Aachen, Germany, who told him they had been discovered in an abandoned shipping container. With encouragement from some experts, he initiated a collection of over 150 works that remain, six years later, stubbornly unauthenticated. All of these works were on view in this exhibition.
